Since August I've been researching the band, and today at my initial appointment with my surgeon he told me he thinks I'm a better candidate for bypass. I need to learn!!! Anyone have advice on resources to learn all about this procedure, and before and afters.. thanks!

I was initially going for the band at first. After research I decided bypass. Do all ur research and make the choice that works best for you.

I currently have a band and I'm trying to get a revision to the bypass. The band was not the right choice for me. I would listen to the doc. It sucks to go thru the pain of the surgery for nothing, now I have to do it again.

I have faith the bypass will be the right thing for me. Best Wishes

Do your research, Ask tons of questions make sure you pick whatever you will be most successful with. Take your time, this is huge, we all want success.
