    It will come faster then you think! Who is your surgeon? I had mine on Nov. 30th in Mason City with Dr. Ver Steeg but I live in Waterloo...

    What kind of insurence do you have

    I have United Healthcare... the process with them was very simple so I was lucky

    I have bcbs I have been done with my six month diet for two weeks now and dr versteegs office hasnt submitted my stuff to insurence yet im sick of waiting

    It took about 2 weeks to get everything prepped to submit for my approval, as frustrating as it was being on this end thinking they just weren't getting their job done in a timely matter once it was submitted and approved in one shot I realized the prep work they were doing to assure it only took one time to get it approved. Trust me, once they get the green light it will fly by! The day I got the call that insurance approved everything they set up the final preop appointments and I had my surgery date... then I had my own personal freak out thinking it was moving to fast. ;-) It will happen soon and like everything in this process it takes amazing amounts of patience. Good luck!!
