Well, I'm here at the sleep study, its actually pretty nice. An actual full (maybe queen) size bed in a room, kinda looks like a hotel room little smaller, and bathroom is in hall (its in a doctor office) I'm nervous because I haven't slept without my hubby and when I do sleep away from him I don't actually sleep! The doc gave me a 3mg of lunesta to try to help hopeing it will work. Haven't gotten set up yet, soon though. Already little sleepy (but assumeing that's from my monthly visitor and how early I was up today 6ish and not to bed till after midnight) so hopeing this goes well, I know they are putting a cpap machine on me and if I need it will turn it on. This is gonna be a night that's for sure. Anyways hopefully things go great and I get this done so I can move to the next thing lol gl to me and hopefully no sleep apnea! (My bmi is already at 53 and have high blood presure so I'm already set for that kind of approval)

I am also here at my study! Just got set up and ready to go to bed. I am the same way! I have not slept alone in years and hoping I am able to actually sleep!

My BMI is 57 and I also have high blood pressure. I am fairly certain I have sleep apnea though.

Good luck!

To be honest a night away from my extreme snorer boyfriend, and the thrills of a baby would be AWESOME!! He snores so bad, I sometimes have to go sleep on the couch. Ugh....

It was awful. I can't sleep. I may have to come back and do it all over again bc I couldn't stay asleep.

Now I have to go home and deal with 2 babies after a night of maybe, 2 hours total of sleep.< /p>

I'm sorry AB. I slept ok. Got about 5-6 hrs of sleep. Did wake up a few times tossing and turning and the thing they put in my noise that goes over my mouth to monitor breathing that annoyed the crap out of me! Butthe tech said I won't be needing to come back for a second one. And they didn't put the cpap on me so yay no sleep apnea. (didn't say I didn't have out just assuming) just come back the 21st to talk about my results and be one step closer to my surgery.

Well I was worried for nothing. Of the one hour I was asleep I had 58 apneas. I go back tonight for another study with a cpap.

I had trouble sleeping with my at home study. I did it two weeks ago and no answers yet. I don't know how they expect people to sleep with a box thing on your chest and wires getting in the way all night long. It was a rough night for sure.

I hope I can do mine at home, I have a 10 month old. And although he will sleep through the night, I don't want to have to find a babysitter just so I can go sleep lol

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
