Let's be friends, I need your HELP!

I had my surgery 8/12, I'm down 52lbs. I have done great so far with my weight loss however, I am beginning to pick up old habits. I drink soda everyday, started eating Cookies, and my solution after a stressful day of work is to have a cocktail. I'm pretty much a loner, so its easy to come home and find comfort in these things. :(

  • I understand the need for directness but its not at all okay to tell any one of us that we don't deserve something. While I'm sure you meant well, there are ways to be both truthful and supportive.

Thanks mamiof3, I put forth a big effort actually a week ago, but today it was nice to hear all the comment. I will be restocking my pantry with crystal lite, and I actually like plain water, protein shakes, and ice pops. Thanks for the reminder.

Try your best to make small changes throughout the day. Try to keep your calories limited(set a goal number and try to keep your intake of calories under that). That way you wont feel so bad if you have a cookie or pop every once and awhile because the other items you had were low calorie. I don't look at the big picture because sometimes it can be overwhelming, small steps eventually get you to your destination.

Is that slow? Lol that is freaking awesome! Doesn't seem slow to me! What do you think is average?

I guess it seems slow to me, because some people are just as far out as I am and have lost more. But I'm glad I'm not losing very fast. My skin doesn't look bad.

I had my surgery 8-21-12. So I went to see my doctor on my 3rd month and was told that I didn't lose enough. Since my surgery i've lost 42lbs. I went back on liquids for a week. Now am eating only chicken, veggies, fruits. I've been looking on here for other stuff I can eat. I am on stage 4 but I'd like to know what others are eating for breakfast etc. I just started walking and riding my bike because I wasn't feeling well. If someone can send me to the right place for info on this I'd greatly appreciate.

If there's anyone from Modesto,CA that has had the gastric bypass recently I'd like to talk and maybe we can support each other.

I'm gonna add one thing to this thread and then could really careless if I see anything again. I have been on these boards for awhile. Anyone who sees kaylees posts and actually reads them knows she is a no nonsense young woman who is passionate about wls. I think the original poster should have taken all the criticism and suggestions and used them to make better decisions. Lets face it we are all here for a reason and to be frank... We are all or were fat! Stay on the program and work the tool!!! Good luck to you on your journey but to those bashing kaylee aren't you really acting shamefully like you accuse her of doing?

(I love you - have a beautiful day)

@ swillkins...you are the one who must be accountable for what goes in your mouth. There is help out there. I have been sober a number of years. Now I need help with the food. Overrated Anonymous has been a huge help for me. If I don't buy it I can't eat it. The rule in my house is when you leave so does your beer...now that rule now applies to soda.
