In still experiencing pain myself as I'm only 4 days post op. I just make sure I take my meds every 4 hours on the dot. That really helps.

So far so good on the food intake. I just started puréed yesterday so I've only had cream of wheat and Greek yogurt. Going to try mashed potatoes & gravy in a little bit. And I might also try some Soup for dinner. Taking if real slow because I don't want to get sick. Getting my Protein from the unflavored Protein that I add to food & some pre made shakes. How's it going for you?

Okay I had acid reflux really bad last night and I was so nervous because I thought something was stuck. I hate to throw up. I seen that people would puree Wendy's chile and I did and it went down good and I didn't get sick. I have not even bought the plain Protein to add to the food. Where did you buy it?

My surgeons office has a store where they sell all kinds of Protein products & Vitamins. You can purchase it online @ powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury.com... It's pretty good. I think someone said you can purchase some at GNC. I forgot about the Wendy's chili... I'm gonna have to try that.

Can you taste the unjury

I can't taste it as I make sure it if mixed in the food very thoroughly. You hVe to make sure the food isn't too hot when you add it. Should be 140 degrees or cooler.

So I start pureed on Thursday. Well depends on what the doc says. With these foods you mentioned are you puréeing it or making it as mashed as possible?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
