Diana Franklin New To Forum Post Op 10 Weeks

Hi everyone, I had my RNY on September 26th 2012. Just looking for new places to get some good support and information. Glad to be here and I pray that you are all happy and healthy!! I live in Oak Harbor Washington I have 9 kids and 10 grandkids, and 1 doggie. My husband is my biggest supporter. Jesus is my life and I live for HIM.

I find that exercising is not what I like to do. Although, I do run a 5K every other day, It does not seem to be enough. What are some good tips on what to do for exercise? Another stumbling block for me is Protein, I am very picky and sense my surgery, I am even picker....... UGH, makes it hard to find things I like!!

Thanks for your help!

Blessings!!

Diana

Hello and welcome. I just joined yesterday and am still waiting for insurance approval, so I don't have any pearls of wisdome, but comming here for support is a great idea. There are many here who can answer those questions I am sure.

Welcome again,

Kat

Hi Diane!! Welcome. This is a great place to be!! There are a lot of great people on the boards. I had my surgery about three weeks ago. Congrats on the 5k. That's great work. Are you doing any strength training?
