Uhhh!! If I smelled pizza...I might spontaneously combust! Lol. No, but honestly I ate 2 bites of cottage cheese the other day too fast and it was sooo painful!! Then I threw up, well, just wretched and spit (tmi and gross, I know) about 10 times and so other people's food is not appealing to me at all since that happened! I'm terrified it will happen again! :( But once I get over the fear...who knows?

Also, I know someone mentioned this before but way did you guys say the pain under the left rib cage was from? I have been having it on and off since yesterday. Also, last night I had some chest pain and I'm pretty sure it was gas cause I had that full feeling, you know? Just wondering what you all found out or if any of you experienced this.

I had wondered if they work. Let me tell you though about the lift. I can't wait to have it done. I've finished having children so that is #1 or 2 on the list of needed.

On a little darker note' date=' yesterday I was referred to a GYN oncologist. Been diagnosed w complex hyperplasia atipia. So complete hysterectomy for me in a month or two. I'm 40 I would have loved a second child but it never happened for me. My daughter is a Jr in HS, so I think I need to get my precancerous organs out of me. After the hysterectomy they take cross sections of the uterus to make sure there isn't cancer in other areas of the uterus. Anyone else on here have this, or a close family member?

Sorry to hear that Gen. Prayers are with you for a great recovery.

:) Gina Surgery date Dec. 10th :)

I had surgery on the 14th and today is 4 weeks and finally getting over my nausea! Wow who knew it would be that bad! I've lost 23 lbs and not eating much at all but find that I'm being constipated. Ugh! This has been the best day so far :)

Sorry if I'm being a pest, but has anyone experienced crampy pain all over their abdomen? I have it tonight along with some gas (belching) and it's starting to worry me. Could coffee be doing it? Or tuna and lite mayo? Help!

Hey everyone! I am 11 days post-op today and it was the first day that I really started to feel like myself again :) Most of my pain has been gone for awhile, but I have had a couple lingering tender/sore spots that have been giving me trouble. Today I was actually able to walk around almost pain free, and even took myself on a trip to Barnes and Noble! Im so excited, I just felt I had to share with people that understood what I was going through. Hope everyone is doing well!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
