Just got back from DR appointment. I have graduated to puréed food!! Who hoo! Any known favorites' date=' please shoot my way.

I have to go to nutrition classes every couple of weeks. My first stage consisted of no sugar added applesauce (try motts healthy harvest), low fat yogurt, cream of potato (condensed), cream of mushroom (condensed), all must be pureed! They also said I could puree canned peaches or pears only, but they had to be the kind in light syrup or no sugar added. I can also have pureed green beans or carrots.

You guys are troopers! I have no desire to go back to work, I have no energy, nausea, and no support where I work.

I get the same thing! Don't know what it is' date=' it's almost like my "old" stomach is having major hunger pains minus the hunger. Weird.[/quote']

Yeah that is it feels lot like that I am post OP a week and I am feeling much better. it took about 4 days before that weirdness subsided. Hope you feel better soon

Hi family. I just wanted to check on everyone. I've been very quiet. It's been rough for me starting out. A cold, then thrush, and my picky pouch has issues with the antibiotics. My poor hubby is so worried. I'm sad with a little buyers remorse but I expect that will change when I'm back to feel better. I dislike being sick. :(

I hope all is well. Congrats to any new post op family we have. :)

Hi everyone and congrats..on your new journeys wtg and best wishes to all...I apologize for barging in, but I have a question and wondering if some one may be able to answer..I'm scheduled for surgery Wednesday the 28th yay!!!so excited..but 2 days ago I developed a cough with a little chest congestion..I'm doing everything possible to get better..does anyone know if they will have to reschedule my surgery if I'm not fully better...very nervous..cause I really want to have surgery Wednesday...thank you

A few of us on this thread had the same thing. If it does not go away you should be ok as long as you do not have a temp. They put me on antibiotics in a drip when I came out of surgery. Good luck !

Thank you very much...as nervous as I am about the surgery..I am also very excited and do not want to put it off any longer...cant wait to be able to be sharing on this forum

No problem best of luck !

Peachee, I hear you! Hope you feel better.

I'm siting here in the hospital after my second surgery. I had an intestinal stricture. What a bitch. I was SOOO sick. Nothing would stay down. Horrible gas pains since nothing would stay down. Feeling better now but wow I wish I hadn't done this over the last 24 hours. Hoping things pick up now.
