I tried to watch blindside today and was crying the whole movie so glad this is common.

I'm so glad I asked. Plus crying hurts four days after a surgery.

Oh yeah not fun. in good time we will get through this.

I don't get a bad taste can you tell which one has the bad taste ? I try to spred mine out

Pure Protein makes me gag. I just bought some shakes from costco and they are the best so far.

Had the surgery on the 8th. Lost 20lbs the first 2 weeks but nothing the past few days. Head hunger is driving my crazy and i cant seem to drink enough water. Have no energy but attempt to walk everyday. Does anyone else get lightheaded or dizzy every time they stand up? Other than that im so happy i got the surgery and cant wait for the next few weeks to be overwith!

Oh and smells! Ugh everywhere i go i smell nasty smells. Even certain foods smell really funky now! Bleah

3rd day post op and I am FINALLY having gas that I can actually get out! Thank you Jesus! What a relief!!!

Brianne, dehydration can make you lightheaded. Try to take baby steps. Work on water today and some protein also try propel and low cal Gatorade g2. It helps with electrolytes. Good luck.

I had to share I had a yummy puree lunch to day 1/4 cup chicken 1/4 low fat regatta pureed and then warmed up with tiny bit of garlic and butter buds yum yum

I'm still not sure of what to eat in stage 2 so I've just been eating what they gave me in the hospital...cream soup, yogurt and protein shakes...last 2 days I've been feeling hungry tho

If you go to the gooogle the Web site for highland hospital Rochester NY and find the baratric section and look under meal plans on the left hand side you can print out the meal plan for each stage it is so helpful

Your welcome hope it is helpful! If it is let me know I can post the link for others. It even tells you how to prepare things
