1 oz. of liquid an hour

My doctor has me on 1 oz an hour of clear liquids for 2 weeks. That's ok right? I had surgery on Jan 30 and I'm not hungry at all. Did anyone else have to do this? I'm not complaining..I don't want anymore, I just want to make sure I'm getting enough fluids. What do you think?

I think I would call my doctor and make sure this is what he wants. It seems if you only drink 1 oz per hour, the most you would get in would be 24 oz of Fluid per day. I think one would get dehydrated? Doesn't sound right to me?? But I'm no doctor. I was told to get in at least 64 oz per day and my apple juice, broth's, creamy Soups, and SF Jello count towards my total intake.:)

that sounds wrong. call the dr. and ask again. maybe for the first day--but i think you'll be dehydrated quickly if you stay on that schedule.
