December Bandsters in February!

Recommended Posts

YES!!! I am not getting my fill until the 19th, so I think my goal for the month will still be 10 pounds....i figure if I can lose 5 before my fill and 5 after, I'll be one happy camper!! Should we have someone keeping track of everyones goals and maybe a once a week check in so we can see how we're all doing??

Do we each want to do our own challenge or do we want a collective one that we can all work together towards??

I like the idea of us each setting our own challenge, since we are all different, but keeping accountable for it in this group! I'd be willing to keep tabs on people if you want...just PM me your Goal and then maybe each Monday or Friday we can each report in as to our progress?? Let me know what you think....so if your goal is to exercise 20 days out of the month, you'd report that you exercised X number of days that week or if you're goal is to lose 10 pounds and you lost 2 pounds that week...etc....

Actually, we can all track it ourselves - I just made a second ticker and put it in my signature - that way I have to hold myself accountable!

Help! What do I do. I need a fill but the doctor can't get me in until Feb. 13th. I am so scared I am going to gain weight in the next few weeks. I have been so hungry? Has this ever happened to anyone?

BEX.....I'm in the same boat as you, except I'm not getting my fill until the 19th!!! What I'm doing in the meantime is really just keeping track of my daily calorie intake to make sure I'm not eating like a pig!

Hang in there, try to stay on track and still eat the 'bandster way', and hopefully you (and I) won't gain before we get our fills!!!

Oops, didn't know this thread had opened. I was waiting for a link to be posted. Glad I checked!

As for hunger, I've been hungry all day yesterday and today. I don't know what's up. Thank god I go for a fill Feb. 9th. I feel myself slipping into old habits.

I'm going to try and up the exercise this upcoming week to see if that helps.

I also need to find a high-Protein, fast and easy Breakfast food. Any suggestions?

Hey everyone. A challenge sounds good to me. Now that I'm over my cold I think I'll do an exercise challenge. I'm really struggling with that right now!

Kellie---what kind of trouble are you having. Are you using tickerfactory.com? If so, once you have created your ticker, copy and paste the URL code onto your signature page and it should work. If you need any help, let me know.

Maurdan--I too could use some Breakfast ideas. That seems to be the hardest to be creative with.

G'day All

I've never had any luck with those tickers :)

I suppose you have to create a new one everyweek, to adjust your weight loss??

I tried to paste one when I first came to the forum, but I was not at all successful :)

I'm heading away for a few days, catch you all on my return :)

CHEERS to Happy Healthy Eating :)

Hey gang...one of the breakfasts I've been having is Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal.....it is a good source of Protein and Fiber (to keep those pipes clean if ya know what I mean) ;-)

There is also egg beaters w/cheese omlettes....those always keep me full for a long time!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
