A thought about gastric flu

Just wondered if anyone knows the answer to something I was thinking about. At Christmas I had gastric flu and was violently sick through the night. I am just thinking what would happen if you got this or food poisoning with the band in place. I just couldn't imagine what it would be like vomitting as I was with your stomach restricted. Anyone know the anwer??

I was told to get myself to ER ASAP and get anti-nausea meds if I ever throw up. My husband made the point that it would certainly be alot less volume-wise. Sorry if that was too gross :)
