In a closed group our comments will not be secret, the group needs to be secret for it to not post on regular Facebook. Does this make sense?

Yeah my stomach is handling the pureed food fine. I just have a lot of pain probably from not having a BM YET. (Surgery was 9-26). I have an IUD so haven't had a period since it was put in in 2009. YAAY! But was told if it started after surgery to call Dr office...there was something they could do to stop it. I am sleeping a lot due to the pain med. I'm already tired of the pureed food. Be glad to eat solids again lol

I have a IUD too and had not had My period in months but mine started the day after surgery which sucked. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to you!

Hi everyone, I slept n my sides last night yeah! My back is so tired on being in bed so darn much. My apartment is small and I have severe difficulty with the steps so I pace the living room each time I get to pee. Think I will try sitting at my desk today maybe play some online spades whooo whoooo.

I have been able to keep hydrated but at this one week mark I am seriously trying to implement the Protein Drinks. Today I am trying to get a full oh yeah, 32 grams Protein total for 14 ounces, in. Tastes fine just sipping my first 4 ounces now. Warm liquids are still best.

I can't believe a week ago I just had my lap band surgery. Time has gone by so fast. We don't have a scale in the house so I won't know how much weight i've lost since my surgery date. I've been busy and walk a lot. Today was the first day I went back to the gym and walked 2 and half miles :)

Good for you Kimmy. Sounds like you are doing fine. I have my ups and downs. Doc says I took my pain pills too fast so I don't think I get any more, ugh. Yay, Rachel. I'm as pleased as you about being able to sleep on my side. I have a huge amount of pillows surrounding me.

My Facebook name is Leslie Ikley. Please add me to the group if you get the chance.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
