What Is Your Ideal Size?

Recommended Posts

I am a size 24 and I'm okay with being plus sized, I just wanna look and feel healthy. I'm having rny in Aug, and I really don't wanna go smaller than a 16.

What is your ideal size?

I always felt best at a 8-10. Kept my curves and wouldn't want any lower.

I'm an 18 (or a 16 depending on where I shop) and I want to be at least an 8/10 so I can finally share clothes with my sister!

People tell me my mind will change later on but we shall see :)

It depends. I was happy with my plus size body but my knee was being affected & my stomach was in the way of sex.

I wasn't into exercise but I wasn't lazy. I took care of my chores kids cooking. But I hit a moment that I want to be healthy & decided I don't want to be fat.

A long time ago, I was a size 4, but I looked hollow and unhealthy...I think I will be happy with size 8, Im a 18 in some things and a 22/24 in others...i don't like things snug so I tend to go up a size to hide more of me.

No longer does an 18 feel comfortable. Stuffed sausage is more like it. That is what I mosey have thought and a few 20's.

I am really hoping to k ow what single digits looks and feels like. I could even live with the 8/10 any smaller would be dreamland!

I wouldn't mind being a 10/12 just as long as I'm healthy and able to have more children :)

Honestly I wouldn't mind being a size 12-14. I loved my body at that size

I'll like 6/8 but I'm not sure, I don't want to look sick. I will let my body decide, and i'll be happy whenever my body wants to stop lossing weight :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
