Just because someone tried something once doesn't mean they are gonna keep doing those bad things I don't feel like I've cheated myself at all I've lost 70 lbs in just 4 short months! I know people that have never cheated and lost less than I have in 4 months.....so you do you and I'll do me and I hate to say it but if you don't want to see what we are subjectin ourselves to than don't read it!

I agree! Close the thread! Only opinion that matters is your own! Vamp, well said.

John, it appears many can't just get along.

I did not react differently or say anything in my post than I would not have said in person.

Although I am deemed as judgemental simply because I expressed my opinion, I find it very interesting that many are doing exact that.

In addition to pretzels and chocolate covered raisins I also miss Bojangles Fried chicken. Having the grilled chicken from the sandwich simply is not the same.

I understand where Raleigh is coming from. Maybe it xame off as a little harsh bit her intentions were good At two weeks out you should not be trying pizza. If you do this you may not be ready for this journey ofcourse one day down the line most of us will try old favorites again. But it should be a treat not a daily thing that most of us were used to doing. This surgery is just a tool to keep us from doing that for now so when we do have treats we can be conditioned to eat smaller portions. Some of us need tough love. Its like any addiction. You are only going to stop when your ready or hit bottom. And I did. Btw I really really miss Reese's Peanut Butter cups too.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
