Sorry I keep forgeting my itouch isn't working, and I'm trying to reply.

I'm sorry your having problems. I hope soon you will be feeling better. I know it must be horrible, but even though I didn't have the gastric bypass yet. I know how you feel, because with my last pregnancy I ran into complication so of course no one but you won't understand, and you don't wanna hear crap. I had swollen feet for over 1 week, and I had a nurse in the house to watch over me. I couldn't walk my feet were like football so I can understand. I was in pain, and even had to call my mother to come cook for me. I can tell you that I feel things will get better soon. It will take time but you will be fine in the long run. I took me like a month for me to bond with my now 2 year old. I look at my baby, and say "it was worth having you".. I went threw a blood transfusion, swollen feet, bleeding in the incision,my body got swollen also. I never ever had blood pressure, but my pressure was high for a while. I was in bad shape. Sending you hugs.

I am 4 weeks out last Friday. I can honestly say that I haven't really felt great since day one after surgery. Last night I developed pain in chest. It was horrible and it continued every time I tried to eat anything or lay down. Called doc to said he thought something was stuck in pouch or opening. Told me to get meat tenderizer and warm Water and SIP for a hour 6 oz. I didn't even get in 15 mins before started vomiting badly. Now I feel weak and dehydrated. I'm still wondering what have I done to myself. On the up side, if there is one....I have lost 42 pounds since I left the hospital.

Post op almost 9 years and just threw up breakfast! Sure there's bad days but the good out WEIGH them. No regrets from the surgery been hospitalized dozens of times and airlifted once, and I still don't have it perfect. Don't think I ever will.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
