2.8 miles knocked out today. Been a hectic time with the end of the month and all at work. I should be able to finish strong tomorrow. I hit my goal, now just working on some extra mileage. Total so far this month is 127.97 miles. Plan is to break 130 tomorrow, that will beat Sept total by 3 miles. Not as much over previous month as I hoped but I will take it.

Come on everyone...1 more day! Let's finish strong! And stay out of the Halloween candy...LOL

Noticeably my arms and legs are starting to get firmer than when I first started Insanity.

My endurance is improving every day. My clothes are getting looser and looser, but this is a combination of the workout program and eating healthier along with the new sleeve.

I only weigh in every 6 weeks. My next weigh-in is the day before thanksgiving. I dont want the scale to run my life like many do.

The Insanity program is truly hard but my mind is focused on becoming a healthier me. I highly recommend the program!!

Okay final wrap up for the month:

Last month I had no idea how many miles I was biking/walking/running so I jumped at the chance of 100 as the goal.

Goal: 100

Sept: 121.5 total

This month I set my goal for 150 trying to improve upon the Sept. Challenge.

Goal: 150

Oct: 172.1 total

Need to think about what I'm going to do next month! Thanks and good luck to everyone, you have one last day to push yourself for this challenge...and a good reason to push today...Happy Halloween!

Great job Georgia! I'm so impressed at how you jumped in both of these months! And the scale is reflecting all your hard work. ;)

Just want to congratulate everyone on all your inspiring, athletic endeavors and accomplishments. I was just plum pooped out this past week so it's not an inspiring finish for the challenge for me this time. Hope to do better in November. Carry on every one!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
