My voice is deeper and I can no longer sing.....I hope that my voice will come back..But I had a trachea because of my extended coma....

I've had problems. Was worse the first month, but my voice still isn't what it used to be at 6 weeks. I was thinking it might be carry over from anesthesia, but hey, it might be related to acid reflux, too.

I have been on protonix acid reducers since surgery. My surgeon said hoarseness usually resolves by 6 weeks.
