Just got my insurance approved!

Hi all! I'm new to this sight. Been researching weightloss surgery for the past few years. Recently had a birthday and decided I wanted a "life transformation" as a bday wish. I attended a wls info meeting for my bday, lol! One week later, after some telephone tag, I got a call that my husbands insurance will cover my surgery. So happy! Just purchased Weightloss Surgery for Dummies book. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance.

    Oh and some info about me. 39, wife to one, (one's enough) Mom to 5. I'm 5'3 and 250-260lbs. I have an appointment with my surgeon on Oct. 4
