My surgery was Tuesday. I think I only got in like 43-45 ounces of fluid yesterday. I'm doing even worse today. I'm still so exhausted that I keep falling asleep and missing my 1oz every fifteen minutes. They didn't allow me to have any protein in the hospital. I started it today when I got home.

I had trouble taking my water in and they werent going to release me either so my surgeon suggested WARM liquids like decaf tea. That did the trick. He said that some new tummies spasm due to the cold or even room temperature water. I got down 3 ounces in a snap and was feeling much better, started walking more and bam, released. Why not give it a try.
