4.5 on the stationary bike and 1 mile on the elliptical plus 5 for yesterday's spin class brings me to 42.6 so far. Nothing like a little healthy competition to make you push yourself!

It is aqua fitness/aerobics/weights all done in Water. It kicked my butt!

The bikes in my gym don't have a digital display. Bummer. I was thinking I would give myself 5 miles for the spin class if it's OK w/ Butterthebean and every one.

I think you should give yourself more...I peeked at my monitor today at around the 45 minute mark and it was 13.7. I rode 18.9 miles in 62 minutes.

I'm okay with whatever you do but 5 miles seems low for 45 mins.

Well, thanks Georgia, I have to give credit to our instructor...she is a die-hard (outdoor) biking enthusiast (her idea of a leisurely weekend is a 2 day bike race...LOL) She pushes us HARD (nicely...darn it she is so sweet but tough!) and I do love the feeling after I walk out of there dripping in sweat!

due to very bad storms rolling through the northeast, I was only able to exercise on my stationary bike at a moderate-high resistance for a half hour for a total of 8 miles today. So far my best day! My grand total is now 36.86 miles toward my goal. Thank you all for keeping me in line...I love a good challenge!

+5 miles today running for 88 total. I did another grueling crossfit WOD today and will do one more tomorrown and, phew, rest over the weekend. 5 for 5 this week cross fit sessions. I know, a big no-no. :) Next week, I will get on the "3 on, 1 off" schedule.

By the way 6 lovely holes on my two hands after today's WOD.

Here is my right hand cleaned up showing 2 new large holes (was bleeding with skin falling off after round 1 of 5 today):

Caused by 16 pull-ups in the set of exercises per round. The coach said grin and bear it. I did. I think this is just a phase every cross fitter goes through.

Update: feels better today with Neosporin. I am going to try wearing some training gloves from now on.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
