for those of you who have had to have a colonscopy

I currently have a colonoscopy scheduled for sept 6th (fingers crossed if it goes well i will fianlly have my gastrointestinal clearance)

I am expecting my period sometime this week and was just wondering will they still perform a colonoscopy if i am still on my period?
