I've been so excited about my surgery and been so good in my pre-op diet. I am going to sleeved on Tuesday. I didn't eat anything except a Protein Shake this morning and I made the mistake of going grocery shopping. While I was at the deli buying sliced meat for my husband's lunch next week, I folded and bought a small cup if chicken nuggets! I can't believe I did it!!!! Am I screwed for surgery or can I make it up by doing only Clear Liquids for the next 2 days?

No you are not screwed for surgery! You will be just fine and I don't blame you for eating them!! This shouldn't even come close to stopping your surgery. Just pick yourself up and move on. Don't do it again but you should be just fine! :)

Down here in my part of Florida it has rained every afternoon for months it seems. What does that have to do with eating chicken nuggets? I can't think of any connection either. I need some sleep, sorry.

You will be fine. I am glad you are concerned, that is a good sign. :)

At least you didn't have anything with carbs! You will be fine if you stick to it from here.

I cheated a little too and my dr said my liver was great :)

I had a chicken breast from Popeyes the day before surgery and the dr still said my liver looked great. Upset with myself for taking such a big risk now that I look at it

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
