went 2 my first seminar NJ

So I went 2 my first seminar yesterday n took my mother along cause she is my support in this. There are 3 surgeons I get 2 pick from the Hackensack New Jersey team and I have my first consultation september 23rd ... I already qualify for it after I spoke 2 my insurance and my doctor I just have 2 wait 6 months b4 I can schedule a date for surgery... I'm happy but I'm also scared... Any tips on how I can prepare my self mentally for this... I heard its hard but I just wanna b some what prepared for whats gonna happen

It's not necessarily hard, at least it wasn't for me. Keep focused on the reasons you need the surgery and then it all becomes clear and easy.

Embrace the definitive way you're taking control. There are an ocean of what-ifs out there, but the probability is that continuing on in the unhealthy body and lifestyle would make you sicker and unhappier than you'd ever be with the surgery.
