No desire to eat

I am a busy busy mom. When I am handling a daily routine, I am almost able to get in all of my protein. Not getting all my fluids in at all! I just realized that all I have a had all day long is 12 ounces of skim milk and maybe 2tsp of peanut butter, and maybe half a bottle of water. But I can't bring myself to eat most of the time. Especially when I am running a whole lot of errands. Then when I realize that I have not eaten... It is 11pm. And obviously there is no way for me to get what I need. Any suggestions? I am 3 weeks post-op?

Hmmm. I always wanted to eat. Lack of hunger was never an issue. Because of my slow loss I asked my doc if I could go back to just shakes and he said that was fine. So I wouldn't be too concerned at this point. Just try to up your fluids!

Set an alarm on your phone several times a day to remind yourself. If you don't eat or drink you will end up back in the hospital. Take care of yourself and set new patterns of a healthy was to eat (drink)

Good luck!

I read a post where someone was eating at 7 am - 11 am - 3 pm and -7 pm. We have adopted that by setting alarms and its going a lot better for us, because otherwise we too would forget to eat. Feel so much better too, staying nourished.

I am also a nursing student. So day by day my schedule is never the same. School starts back next week. So I am hoping that having a semi normal schedule will make things better. I will be able to have my lunchbox with me, with choices of food. I am totally excited to eat some real meat! My classes are three hours long. So I would have to take things with me to eat throughout. Being in class for three hours will also help me with drinking my water. I will have a time limit to consume so much of it... I just ordered more unjury. My plan is to drink 2 shakes a day minimum and then fill in with food. Just got to get to that point. Cause right now I am struggling. Thanks for all of your advice.
