Hey everyone,

I've been attending some dfwbandster dinners/lunch around the dfw area (which are great, by the way), but would like to get something started on a monthly basis in the Denton area. I've spoken with 2 other gals so far who would want to attend one of these support dinners, so please post and let me know if you would want to meet in Denton once a month. It has been said that people with support, are more successful with the band. Let's get together and encourage one another and have some fun!! Oh, and please put what night/day would be best for you. Thanks!

Well, guys, I will make it to the dinner next week. Hopefully all of you will, too!! I emailed Joy and she said she'd be there. I look forward to finally being able to come since I originally initiated it...lol!! Thanks Richard for carrying it through!! Hopefully, the drama in my life will subside for awhile so I can get back on the "band" wagon again...lol. See ya on Thursday!! I live in Coppell (banded June 2005) and my daughter lives in Corinth (also banded in June 2005. She had a slippage and is unbanded right now, but hpefully she will be back among the banded in April and we would like to attend a luncheon or dinner closer than Dallas or Plano sometimes. Please keep me on your notice list.

I think I'm going to get to come this time. I'm in Sherman right now and have a doctors appointment on the 5th. I'm having so much fun down here, I think I'm going to stay. I don't think that is going to make my parents very happy, but hey, I'm free and 51. Hope to see everyone there!

I'm not going to make any promises, but I do hope to attend the next meeting. The real reason I wasn't at the April meeting is because my daughter doesn't understand why I would want to go since I can't be banded for a year. I told her lots of people have to wait that long or longer, but she didn't want to go. So, I didn't come to avoid an argument with her. She was sitting there watching me write my last post, so I again didn't want to argue with her and avoided the real reason I wasn't coming.

I think I'll be bringing the hippie bus, Furthermore, to this month's meeting. We'll give a tour.

The meeting will be Thursday, May 3, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Jason's Deli. That's in the shopping center on the northeast corner of Loop 288 and I-35e, across from the mall, to the left of Burger King. The address is 2219 S. Loop 288, Denton, TX. Google it.

You are absolutely right, but I live with her and she pays the rent. She also has the only vehicle we own, so I kinda have to do what she wants to do most of the time. It does get irritating to say the least.

Ha! That still sounds like you're talking about your parents. I understand, though. I sure would like it if you could come, though. Maybe in June, you could tell her you're doing homework with a friend.
