I am two months out and did not lose this past week. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this..just a little frustrated.

I was just wondering the same thing. Sleeved 3-JUN and nothing in a week.

Well I'm only 7 weeks out but I had a 4 week (yes 4 whole weeks) stall. I read on the boards that it is not unusual to stall within the first 2 months while your body heals itself.

This is normal and it probably will happen again unfortunately but it will start again. My wife stalled for 3 weeks but then went and got a Vitamin B12 shot and lost 8 pounds over that next week after stalling for 3.

i seem to be at a stall too. getting soft foods down and feeling good but no weight loss for a week. Hoping it is just a short stall.

I'm in my second stall now. I was stalled for 4 weeks. Then had a loss. Now stalled again and have been now this second time for 3 weeks. I'm only 8 weeks out so out of my 8 weeks, 7 have been spent stalled. Not exciting in terms of the scale moving but the inch loss is awesome.

I've been in a 2-month stall since 6 months out, but I'm staying focused. Just added more exercise and more Protein (in my coffee and through out the day) and I'm seeing some progress. Down a couple pounds this week. Just walked in the park and played tennis with family and friends. I'm spoiled by the 5-7 # a week losses I had in the beginning. I need to lose another 50-60# to get to goal and I hope to get there by December. Still happy I'm almost down 100#.

Stalls are pretty common, but I think maybe you should start working on your expectations now. The further out you get, the less you usually lose each week.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
