Excercise while on liquids

Hey everyone. I'm on day 3 of liquids for my pre-op and I usually workout and run with a group of friends. Is it safe to continue to workout and run? We were supposed to run 4 miles this morning. They don't know what's going on and I don't plan to tell them.

I wasn't given any exercise limitations.....so I've kept up my exercise regimen, 4X a week

As long as you stay hydrated, you should be fine. Just stop if you feel weak or dizzy.

No problems pre-op, now post op is a different thing altogether. i have already pushed it too far twice in 10 days, because i love to exercise and i felt so good ( not so good an hour later though)

Safe? Yes....sure. But you may or may not have as much energy. Do what you can. As long as you're still properly hydrated, the worst case scenario is you just won't have the fuel to workout as long. And remember, since you're not eating solid food, it will take much more water than before to properly hydrate you.
