Most embarassing moment so far

My bowels finally moved this morning at 5am .. While I was sleeping ! I was so ashamed I started crying. Yes I'm a 27 year old who **** there bed.. My boyfriend was helping me change the sheets than helped me into the shower. I was mortified. Of coarse all the boyfriend could say " it's ok honey, **** happens." Yep that made me cry harder.

At least you are in good company! :) I had that happen the evening I got home from surgery. My tummy started gurgling and I didn't make it to the bathroom! I'm 8 weeks out and it's gotten better, but I still have times when I'm running to the bathroom after eating. I also had my gallbladder out 5 weeks ago so I thought it was related to that but who knows. It's not fun! It's like severe IBS - aweful.

I agree that you have an awesome guy to help you. My hubby helped me too as I was crying and mortified:) Oh well, **** happens!

I think this happens to almost everyone! My PA basically told us to expect it in pre-op. Mine started just as I was leaving the hospital (surgery on a Tuesday, left Thursday evening). It lasted for 2 weeks, which the PA also said to expect. I also carried spare clothes in my car for a while, just in case. Didn't need them but it was a good sense of security.
