How long before you all started working out? I am 3 weeks post op yesterday and feeling great. Incisions are healed and closed, tolerating my diet very well and have had no problems. I started riding my bike a few days ago but just wanted to get others input.

I started walking 1.5 miles at about day 4 and a little over 3 miles a day by day 7 po. I'm 5 weeks out now and try to get to the gym between 4-6days a week and walk 3.7 miles in an hour on the treadmill. Need to start working in some weights soon.

Same here.. Started walking on day 3 or 4. I'm 4 weeks out and I exercise about 1-2 hours a day (cardio and light hand weights and other strength stuff). I'm hoping my doc says its ok to start "Couch to 5 K" at my next appointment. :)

You can walk and do light cardio right now. You should have weight limitations that limit you on strength training.
