Prescription medication - pills okay to take post surgery.

I forgot to ask my doctor (but will) if I can take my Rx medication after surgery? I take 5 different medications - all are small pills.

    I had no problem swallowing my meds but the Dr did take me off several of them at the time of surgery. They told me which ones to take when I got home.

    You should call them and they will let you know. I was told I could take every thing but NSAID medications. Like Motrin which could possibly cause problems for the sleeve. Per my physicians.

    I was able to take all mine from the first and two of them were fairly large capsules. But definitely ask your doctor.
