Diabetics who got sleeved....

Anyone with diabetes who got sleeved how has your diabetes been? Still on meds or not and how Long did it take to get off them

My wife was sleeved Monday 07/08 and hasn't taken her diabetes medicine (metformin?) since Tuesday' date=' per her doctor. Her blood sugar level has gone down each day...92, 90 and 87 today.[/quote']

I like those numbers! Good luck to you both!

Was on 3 types of oral meds for type 2. Surgery was May 1st down 60 plus pounds and down to 500 metformin once a day. Hoping that if I loose the next 60 all pills will go away. A1c hemoglobin down to 5.9 from 7.4 before surgery !
