I would to live chat with you guys.

I seem to see the same 3lbs go off and on these past months. I think I have it under control then wham, something happens and I console myself with carbs. I know exactly what I need to do but it isn't happening.

I didn't used to get emails when someone posted but on my app (ipad) they're used to be a small red number next to the title of my posts ( or some title like that) and so I knew that someone had added something. Now I have to go to participated and scroll through.

I still get the little red number, but when I hover over it, it gives me a list of all the things I (no longer) participate in, and never shows replies here, even when I come here and discover that there have been many new replies since my last viewing.

Yesterday I ate 1/3 of a caesar salad and a slice of raisin bread. That's it. Today I have had lots of tea and coffee, 1/3 of the same salad (kept in the work fridge) and dinner will be some Soup if I'm not too tired.

Florinda that seems so little and no Protein. Are you purposely going so low or don't you have any appetite?

I totally know that little gallery - used to drive by it every day. I know what you mean about the varying quality of the work up at times - but I suppose that every gallery/museum/home/coffee shop has work that might not be to ones taste.

I am a munchy, munchy mouth right now - perimenopause and I feel like my sleeve is totally broken, but I know it isnt when I eat what I should lol.

Hi everyone. I've been around reading but not posting.

I'm also not getting any notifications when people post so i usually try to pop in every couple days and see what's going on.

I'm still recovering from my accident.

I've had some serious depression over this. I still get headaches and dizziness. I am also having memory and concentration issues still. I can't workout like I normally do bc it makes me sick and dizzy and I end up with a Migraine. The doctors keep saying it takes time and that I will get better. In the last couple weeks I have had some slight improvement so this is promising to me. I started physical therapy and I am doing a lot of work with my balance and trying to eliminate my dizziness.

That's basically what's been going on with me...not much!

I'm doing good with my weight but I have lost so much muscle! I hate it but I know it'll come back when I get back to my regular workouts again.

I have to watch my food intake a lot closer since I haven't been working out. If I eat junk I can eat a lot of it. If I stick with the basic sleeve diet...dense Protein and veggies...my sleeve still works fine.

Denise, so sad to hear about your DIL and her miscarriage. That must've been really hard for all involved.

Thank you Sarsar. I am worried about my son and DIL. Since they live 4 hours away, I can't really see what's going on.

I don't know why I keep gaining weight. I am not eating junk and the scale is going up anyway. It's because I can't work out. It's so ridiculous that I have way more back pain and left leg pain than I did before surgery. Surgery was supposed to fix that. I am scared to eat anything.

We can message alex about not getting notifications. I used to get the notifications up in the right hand corner next to the little envelope. Now I get them for other threads, but not this one. I have to click on my name and click on content I follow to find this group.

@@sarsar I am so sorry this recovery drags on. You mention depression. . How bad is it?

Life is pretty good these days but I have so much physical pain I need to find a different doctor and chase down what is going on.

I received a notification in an email that I was mentioned.

The notifications I'm missing are the ones on my app on my iPhone. There used to be a number that popped up by it if someone made a post in this group.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
