Laura it is hard all the time. It gets so old. It's a life long battle that never ends. I know how sick I get of that scale always running my moods.

My birthday is Friday . I ordered choc cake and choc frosting. I might not eat dinner. I always gain weight between my bd and Christmas. Not this year. I swear. I have worked too hard to get this off.

Oh and I have a date. Some guy an hour away messaged me on POF. He's retired, not bad looking and has a great profile. We shall see. I am ready to have some fun. Allen could never afford to go anwhere.

Dating always makes me thinner

Massive international world-girdling group hug on three, 1, 2, 3 .......*squeeeeeze*.

Fast day - green drink, flaxseed, you know the drill... Most of my team is sick right now so I made some Soup in my electric Water kettle, organic grass fed beef broth, carrots mushrooms cabbage and a little V8. It turned out pretty dang good I must say and felt very nourishing.

Due to my intestinal issues I have had only 2 decent BMs since Friday, so I've decided to not weight myself until that gets sorted, otherwise I'm just setting myself up for psychological torture, seeing bloat numbers.

Has anyone else noticed that the less they eat, the less hunger they feel? In fact, the less I eat, the less I want to eat at all, thinking of food or smelling it makes me queasy.

Sad, depressed angry, and just plain old down...

Up 3 pound from the weekend..

Some days I just feel like I can't take it anymore. I come here and see all these people that dropped all of their weight in six months, I should be happy for them but I'm just disappointed in myself. I will never have a normal life. My days will be consumed with food or lack there of. And should I take my eye of the wheel for two days?? Boom it's back.

Some days I'm tired of fighting. I told myself I would fight for this for the rest of my life because it's worth it.

But it's hard almost everyday it's hard,

I like, want, desire food. I'm still addicted to it. It rules my life even now.

Sorry guys.

On that note fasting today. Why I don't know it's just what I do.

LV you sound just like me when I came back from vacation. Weight loss is so fragile. I had to be talked down off the "I HATE MYSELF" ledge. It's no fun, Sending prayers and cyber hugs that you find your way back to a place where you can continue . Its a daily freaking struggle. Maintenance is hard enough, but losing is a tough really tough battle. You have come so far. Vent. here with us!! It helped me. Vent!! Vent !! Vent!!.. But feel the cyber hugs,

This is such a good solid group of ladies...I am literally feeling all the positive vibes going on around here...

I am sitting here with a silly smile on my face Daisy at your comment "dating makes me slimmer" (or skinnier? or what? just can't remember the exact wording but I *love* that!!) I hope you have an awesome time on your date!

I guess seeing my surgeon makes me "skinnier" because after a half-arse fast day on Mon. I did a do-over on Tues PLUS my double workout and I saw a new low today...like a -14lb new low. We shall see if it "sticks" though, I'm not expecting it too, but dang that was nice to SEE today.

Forgot to address this...I totally FEEL so much LESS hunger after a fast day. It continues to amaze me. But I don't feel queasy...GT do you think that has to do with your intestinal issues? I just don't feel hungry, and I love that. Makes me feel like a "new" sleever again. :)

@ M2G, it could be due to my GI issues, the worst queasiness was when I was travelling last week, for 2 days I couldn't really eat, got in maybe 300-400 cals each day. I couldn't eat becaues there was no viable food around for me to eat beyond what I had packed myself. Aft er 3 days of this I just didn't want to eat at all, all I wanted to do was drink warm tea. I think I might be ovulating right now and it is making this so much more difficult, I want to stuff my face with bacon and french fries and grilled cheese  Instead, I will allow myself a double portion of sardines in my dinner salad and a half ounce of pumpkin seeds for a snack.< /p>

I agree too less I eat, less hungry I am. Psychological? Who knows. But my sleeve certainly kicks in more since I am eating cleanly and following 5:2.

Um, GT, honestly, what you are eating due to restrictions. I don't think would want to eat much either! LOL.

Georgia and M2G, congrats on your loss! WTG

GT, I am a lot less hungry after my fast days, too. I like it. Also, when I do eat on fast days (I fast until later in the afternoon) I fill up very quickly, my sleeve is very tight.

OD, how exciting that you have a date! Have fun!! It'll be exciting to get all dressed up and go out and have some fun.

LV, just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you. Hang in there. Hugs to you.

So, I started 5:2 four or five weeks ago and as of yesterday I am down 8 pounds!! My size 8 jeans/pants and size 6 skirts are getting too big! I am really liking 5:2!

Have a great day, Ladies!

I am going to call the guy today, who sent me the message. He gave me his number so I am going to call him when I get back from the gym.

I agree totoally that 5:2 has taken away my hunger. I sometimes don't even want to eat. I love it!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
