My surgeon said one but I kind of want to stay two just to feel more confident. One doesn't seem long enough to me for having 85% of an organ removed! I don't know if it's an insurance thing or what or if I could stay if I wanted.

Mine scheduled for 2 nights but I felt pretty good the next day and asked to leave early if it all goes well one night should be good... good luck!

I stayed two...only because I lived so far away from the hospital....200 miles. The doc wanted me to stay in case of complications. I would ask the doc to give you a leak test before you leave the hospital. It is awful....tastes horrid, but it made me feel more at ease to know there were no leaks before I left. I felt fine after four days of recovery. Good luck!
