I put my swimsuit on yesterday. Back in March while I was in California and Mexico it was super snug. I had to wiggle my way in and out. Yesterday it was loose and baggy. Extra baggy up top. :-(

It frustrates me that many plus sized swimsuits are designed assuming the plus sized woman has a large bust. I just don't. And what little I have is disappearing with every pound.

I was pleased at the apparent weight loss but saddened by just how unfeminine I felt in my swimsuit.

Mine are the same way! I have one from LB that I really like but it has the big hard cups. It looks ridiculous when I lay down in it.

I'm sorry, Amanda. If it makes you feel any better, suits aren't really made for larger-chested women either. Most don't have good support and they have padding in the chest area (soft cup bras), which most larger-chested women don't need. To get a nice supportive underwire, you have to buy super-expensive suits. Which is a pain when you know you won't be that size for long. Really, more swimsuit companies should offer swimsuits in cup sizes. Actually, I was at Lane Bryant not too long ago, and I did notice some of their suits (they may have been tankinis) come in cup sizes. I think the largest they went was D, but they seemed to have quite a few smaller sizes available. So maybe that would be an option.

I have a LB tankini that has an underwire top and i got too fat for it. I'm hoping I will have shrunk into it. Hopefully it will be more flattering.

I hear ya, lady!! I'm also one of those smaller busted, big ladies who struggles to find suits that fit (especially since swimming is my main form of exercise). It definitely doesn't help that suits are so expensive; it feels like I pay a ton of money for something that still doesn't fit. I'm hoping that as I get smaller, I may have more luck, but something tells me that i'll continue to struggle with this. I'm sure what little boobage I have will be the first thing to go (I have long believed that the big boobs I was supposed to have got lost and somehow ended up in my rear! ;))

The Lane Bryant swimsuits come in lots of cup sizes if you like tankini style suits and don't mind the hard clam-shell-like bra built into it. I personally find them to be extremely uncomfortable. I am despairing that I'll be able to find a swimsuit that I like. I need lots of bust support and I want hip and thigh coverage. Guess I'll try the Just My Size catalogue. They aren't too expensive and seem to have a lot of styles.

I have big knockers and I'm a swimmer. No bathing suit holds these puppies in when I am doing a fast freestyle and fahgeddaboutit if I am doing the backstroke.

I buy a bathing suit I love and take it, along with a good sports bra to a tailor and have the bra sewn in. It's the only way.

Sorry about the bittersweet NSV...would be so nice if we could pick where and how the weight comes off...I embraced separates just for that reason...is the reverse issue you have with tops, but nevertheless, is nice to pick a top and bottom independent of each other

Separates do help. I'm pear shaped. I'm all hips and booty. Sir Mix-A-Lot wrote a song about me. Lol

I'm all thighs..... No swimsuit can camouflage that.. And don't say a skirted one because it would have to go past my knees! 0_o

Girl, I am in the same boat! Blessed with the butt not with a bust! It took me forever to find a swim suit! I bought it a little tight so I can get through the summer with it. Congratulations on the loss!

We must be built very similar!

It's all in my upper arms and saddle bag thighs. Clothes have been a challenge at any size, bathing suits do nothing to cover my least favorite areas.

I like the racer back, almost up to my neck bathing suits. I don't have to worry about my deflating balloons going anywhere! Lol!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
