How to display "My Surgeon"

Recommended Posts

I can't get my surgeon's name to show either. It is Dr Jennifer Perkins, Fort Bragg. Every time I try to type it in, it changes it to Jennifer Griffith. I delete that and it saves as nothing. I am having a problem with my story entry and my ticker. they all show under my profile but do not show elsewhere. I did set it for public. ideas?

I just joined today, wrote my surgeon's name in (Dr. Geoffrey Nadzam from New Haven CT) and wrote a review about him. My profile says my surgeon is "Catari" in Wisconsin.

This is obviously an issue for some of our members and would appreciate a little info in order to resolve this problem.

When you are trying to select your surgeon, what, exactly if you don't mind, are you doing?

Step by step please.

Are you completely typing the surgeons name?

Does your browser auto complete his name?

Do you click on his name once our system delivers it as a suggestion?

What type of device are you using (computer, smartphone, tablet etc.)

i am on a pc. when I start to type manually Jennifer it does pop up a list of autocomplete names. my surgeon is not in the list. there are other jennifers. when I manually type perkins it keeps changing it to one that is on the list, Jennifer griffins. it will save griffins but when I try to change back to perkins I get nothing or griffins.

I figured out your specific issue....

We never had Dr. Jennifer M. Perkins listed in our database to begin with.

I've added some very basic info about her to our database and you should be able to select her as your bariatric surgeon. PM me if you have her office or personal email address so I can provide her with info on how to complete her profile.

Please add my surgeon, Dr Ryan Heider. I'm using firefox 23.0.1. I also tried in Internet Explorer 10 and had the same results. Whenver I type anything into the surgeons field, I don't get any auto-complete entries. It's just like a text box. This applies no matter what first letter that I type.

Thanks for your report. We're still trying to get down to the bottom of this issue. We should have an update rolled out in a week or so. I've added Dr. Heider as your surgeon.

Can you do me a favor please ? I'm trying to get down to the bottom of this issue.

Can you type in just the beginning of his last name (monash) and see if that works for you ?

My surgeon isn't on the drop down either although he does have a profile under surgeons.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
