  10. I live in Lillington. I was sleeved sept 17th at Womack army hospital. dr perkins is the best. the program at Womack is proving to be beyond my expectations.
  11. wait till the first day when you get nothing, including liquids for 24 hours. enjoy the liquids while you can. it was perfectly described to me as a mouthful of desert sand.
  12. I am 10 days out and got my flu shot 2 days ago with approval of my surgeon and pcm. my pcm said I needed it more than ever. no problems since. feelin fine
  13. is this normal? I am five days out from surgery. I have felt really good, considering. no pain except some twinges.no nausea. walking 30 minutes a day. not sleeping well, hard to get comfortable. today I am just exhausted. I get up to go to the bathroom and get more water.then it is another nap. my surgeon said to focus on hydration this first week, next week we will worry about protein, even though I try to sneak a little in. I haven't been this tired since surgery. is it all just catching up with me?

  17. surgery is done as of Tuesday. three days out.i have been off pain meds since first night.the only time it hurts is when I get up and down or sneeze or cough. along this line I had my husband buy me an old lady toilet seat that raises up the seat five or six inches after it took me five minutes to get up. keep in mind if you have a low toilet. my surgery was at woamck army hospital and the staff there rocks. hernia repair, sleeve and my liver had adhesions that took a little more time. dr perkins is the best. I am just really tired and sleepy.no gas pain so far, don't know if comes later. I feel great considering.
  18. ok I need to stop whining. my 2 days of clear liquids has been extended to three because of last minute surgery reschedule. I have no reason to complain after reading all of the above
  19. i am on a pc. when I start to type manually Jennifer it does pop up a list of autocomplete names. my surgeon is not in the list. there are other jennifers. when I manually type perkins it keeps changing it to one that is on the list, Jennifer griffins. it will save griffins but when I try to change back to perkins I get nothing or griffins.
  20. I can't get my surgeon's name to show either. It is Dr Jennifer Perkins, Fort Bragg. Every time I try to type it in, it changes it to Jennifer Griffith. I delete that and it saves as nothing. I am having a problem with my story entry and my ticker. they all show under my profile but do not show elsewhere. I did set it for public. ideas?
  21. i II really like her too. she really seems to care. the department is in transition since jasmine and caron left so there was a few rough weeks getting stuff together. I was told no retirees when I called but then Tricare surprised me in a good way.
