Very vocal anti-WLS aquaintance is on this site...

I believe in one's right to keep wls a secret. BUT, it sounds like she is overcompensating in her attempt to ensure no one would ever point a surgery finger her way. It is very sad that her chosen methods to distract hurt others. Karma's a b***h, let it take her down rather lowering yourself to her level. Just my two cents...

I was sleeved 6/4/13. I didn't say anything to many people because I didn't think it was their business. This is my journey. If someone is being dishonest, it only reflects their dishonesty in their character. Try not to let them bring you down.

Ok...............it is I. I did it! I'm the one "Pookey" is talking about.....I'm busted. You caught me!

:P Just kidding!

Seriously, I'm not sure why people can't just be happy for other people's success or triumphs. Sounds like this person is trying to make herself feel better by putting down others? If that's the case, I think maybe overeating should've been the least of her worries. Perhaps some counseling or therapy is in order to help her figure out why she's a hater.

So what's the rest of the story? Did she come clean? Did she see this thread?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
