Blue Shield of California?

Hello All!

Just wondering if anyone had trouble getting approved with Blue Shield of California (PPO)? They told me I may have to do the 6 month supervised diet but no definite answer on much right now. Going in for my dietitian and psych review in the morning! Wish me luck!

    Hi there. I have anthem blue cross, but my friend has blue shield (ppo) and yes, according to her insurance she had to lose 30 lbs and have the 6 month guided diet with several nutrition classes. I know that sucks, but hope that helps. Good luck to u! :)
