Ha! How boring! We got patron shots going in another thread! I'm going back there! :D :D

I've decided that jager bombs are now certainly okay 2 weeks after surgery. :) So anyone that posts "that" question is getting that recommendation from now on.

BTW, if you are going to put me in the ignore can, it is spelled j.o.h.n.l.a.t.t.e

Two weeks? Why so conservative? They should be serving them to you in recovery!

Lol.. I used dip my popcorn in melted butter.. Like a chip n dip. Good lord!

You HAD to go there. Haven't suffered much in the way of cravings, but damn that sounds good. I'm 3 weeks, I can have popcorn with real salted butter, right? ;-)

Phew. That's what I was hoping for. These onion rings taste good with beer. Hint hint.

Oh you are a bad girl....try Old Milwaukee for a great taste with onion rings and Buffalo Wings.

I seriously just read through 12 pages of posts to figure out who we're supposed to be hating on...and I got nuthin.

I KNOW it's not me...but it's nice to know who I'm laughing at.

<sigh> I'll just keep watching and waiting.

Ok fun over. Im going to burst the bubble. I'm not on this forum much but I can put together enough clues to know its Ntvtxn. This is a catty thread. Clever and sly clues is an example of cattiness.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
