Food in throat

I had my surgery on 5/22. When I eat, it feels like the food is just sitting in my throat. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yup. Eat something looser. I was 17 days out before I could eat something and now' date=' 22 days out, it still sticks like an SOB if it's not thin enough. Think runny mashed taters, runny scrambled eggs, etc.[/quote']

Thanks for the tips!

Also - I find sometimes I forget and take too big a bite, or don't chew enough and get that feeling.
