Hi! "Our" thread went a little wonky!

I've had 87 grams of protein and 62 so far of water but I have the rest of the night to get in more... I have not walked the treadmill yesterday or today because I've been busy both mornings last days of my sons school and we had two days of parties! This morning I did lug 6 bags of ice though! :P

My scale is still the same up two down one,

I will never break the 160's I've been 171 so long now that I think my scale doesn't know how to move anymore!!!

You need some m&ms to break that stall!

I feel ya. Maybe your body was stuck at that weight prior to surgery and is confused as to why it wants to lose more. My problem is sleep, cant find the time to get any. And when I do I get insomnia. This sucks, Im really considering the liquid diet just to see if the scales will move more down than like a yo yo.

Remember the lil devil is everwhere lol.

Lil devil... Do you mean fiddle? :P

Notice how he's always sucking down green drinks but tells us about donuts and candy!

He's a pusher of food! :D

Not really pushing them on you. I mention the m&ms because some have shown them as being really effective as stall breakers. I swear my weight drops when I do things like eat 4 Protein Bars in one day. It is about giving your stall some shock therapy, but only for 1 eating session.

That would make for an interesting colada using green superfood mixed with alcohol. I do not think it has been done before... Lol.

Ok, I will stick to the healthy advice (I was just being funny with you), but you do think there is some legit reasoning behind the shock therapy right?

Oh but Andy it wouldn't be VST if we didn't talk about forbidden food! :D

Yeah I get the point about the shock therapy,

And trust me I've come close!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
