Hemp Protein and chia seed???

Yes, hemp is a high Fiber complete Protein. The fiber will absorb moisture & carry it into the intestine. Chia gels to accomplish the same thing, and it's packed with micronutrients & antioxidants.

What phase after surgery did you start to use these? Would they both be mixable into Protein shakes or how would you suggest someone use them who is on liquids only?

Or does anybody have Constipation while still on liquids? I have a fear of constipation after having the worst episode of my life about 6 months ago.

Thanks

Chia seeds you should be at least 6weeks post op before adding. I add 2 tbsp of chia to each of my Protein drinks.

Hemp is a powdering use it to make a Protein smoothie with. My recipe changes a bit from time to time, but currently it is

4oz mango purée (Naked)

8oz coconut Water

4tbsp hemp protein (Nutiva 15g)

2tbsp Nectar® fuzzy navel

1tsp KyoGreen (optional) (also tastes horrible)

Ok, thank you for the information. I plan to be diligent about not getting constipated.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
