A big NSV for me today! Any gal a size 14W or up knows the drill-- you are either shopping in the basement or the attic, next to the dishes and baby clothes. Today, I spent two hours in a strange place called the Missy department! I bought two pairs of pants and it was surreal. Probably kind of silly but it just felt so weird. I kept waiting for someone to say, "you're too fat to be here" but I was just shocked that stuff fit!! Go me!

Way to go! Now, get it in your head that you are NOT too fat to be there. You belong in that department. Own it! It's yours now!

That's awesome!!! Can't wait to say the same! Reminds me of a funny thing that happened to me. I was at a department store l hadn't been in before looking for a dress. I walked up to a sales associates and asked her where their dresses were and she looks at me and then whispers "the plus sized dresses are upstairs"! hahaha Yes I could've chosen to be really annoyed by this but I though it was hilarious she whispered it!

TOTALLY understand the surreal, your too fat to be here, feeling. I am a size 1, 2 or 3, depending on where I shop, and feel almost like a fraud. Like I have no business buying such sizes. I look pretty good in clothes, But...I know what I look like naked, with excess skin, and it ain't pretty!!! LOL
