Rollercoaster of Emotions

Hi all

I'm scheduled for my surgery June 6th. Up until the last few days I have been so excited to have my surgery. It's been a long road to get myself here to this point. Now as I think about my future new self, skinny and healthy, I feel angry. I'm mad that I let myself get to this point that I have to do something this drastic to get back to a healthy place. I'm mad that I'm going to have flabby skin and that I'm going to lose my hair. I feel so down right now that I don't even want the surgery. Anyone else feel like this preop?

I had similar feelings, I was angry with myself for getting to that point. This surgery was my ticket to a healthy life though and I wasn't about to back down. A little loose skin, can be worked with or ultimately fixed, the hair will grow back, but your health is priceless. Don't let your disappointment in yourself keep you from getting healthy! I am rooting for ya! It is so worth it!

Thanks! It's nice to know that in not the only one who feels this way!
