Has anyone developed a leak by lifting?

Oh geez, I'm so worried. I just picked up my 30lb toddler on accident because she needed in her high chair. I'm only 12 days preop. My husband was here but it's so hard to quit old habits. Any stories from others? I feel fine and will do everything I can to remember not to do that again!

Never heard of a leak by lifting. Your much more likely to tear the stitches at your incision sites with this activity.

Hey! Don't worry ! You can't get a leak by lifting. The docs say no to lifting only so that your stitches heal. My biggest worry was not being able to carry my 18 month old son or do anything for my 5 year old. It was a no no for 3 months. It passed quickly.

I have a 18 month old that I picked up a week after surgery. Everuthing is fine with me. I wouldn't suggest doing it 20 times a day but I doubt after two weeks you will get a leak.
