I am a 29 yr old mother of 3 in north west indiana (Portage/valparaiso) and will be banded in chicago by Dr. Calhill... I have heard horror stories with any of the Weight loss surgeries, but side effects come with anything you do or take in life! I am excited to have the surgery and my weight right now is 265 pounds and my goal weight is 135, I would like somone in my area who is having/or have had lap band for moral support. Great to see you here...LBT is certainly the place to come to hook up with people in your own area...If you don't find someone there are heaps of people on this site who will totally relate to all the stages of your lapband journey...the advent of Internet has made the world so much smaller...
