OK Monday the 18th is our dinner date. Any ideas where to go?

I've heard that not eating enough puts you on a plateau. Also letting go of the exercise keeps one from losing. I know for me I've got to recommit to this program. I've been a very very bad lapbander.

Spread the word about dinner. Let's see if we can get some old and new blood. Let's pick a place that its easy to find each other, especially if they are new.

Don't you think that's probably why they say on average you'll lose half of your excess weight? I figure the first half is just going to happen one way or another. The second half requires premanent behavior changes...at a time when the band isn't so new and it's easy to be less vigilant and fall into old habits. I figure if I'm going to go any farther with weight loss, I'm with you...I need to get very very serious. (As I sit here in front of the computer eating a spoon full of peanut butter.)

Anybody want to go have a salad or something at Hasta La Pasta?

PS: I found the phone no. Lana gave me. Now I'm hesitant to intrude since it's been so long.....

Drive east on 1960 into Atascocita. You'll pass Walamrt on your right and in a couple of blocks you'll see Walgreens on your right and Kroger on your left. Hasta La Pasta is in the front part of the Kroger shopping center.

Pinkylee should be invited. I'll send her a message. OK on the 18th, 6:00, table held in the name of Betsy. Let's hope to see a good crowd.

I've got 2 for our dinner - PinkyLee and Barbara12345. Barbara is iffy yet. Sounds like we will have 6-8. I'm leaving DH at home. :D

All medical tests finally are clear.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
