This is stunning news. I'm so so sorry. I had so looked forward to getting to know all of you ladies over time and it just stuns me that sometimes the time we need is not there. Betsey, even though you don't know me well, I'm right here in Huffman, and would like to help in any way I might be able to. Just let me know. And Suzanne is right, you're not alone. Barbara, it's good to hear that they have probably found and fixed your problem. I hope you'll be doing great really soon. I look forward to getting the holidays over and meeting with you all again. We too have a cruise in the future. Just not as close as yours. We'll be going in Janurary. Can't wait. Barbara, Betsey , Sandra and all how I have yet to meet, I wish a very Merry Christmas.

I'd love to meet with you girls again but this time of year is just so busy that it will have to be after the holidays for me. I'm looking forward to seeing you all then.

Betsy, I'm so sorry that you didn't get better news. I know with my mom's Lupus it was rarely ever good news. But you seem to have such a positive attitude that I hope you can just keep plugging away and eventually have some relief and better news.

Sandra and Barbara, I can't tell you how good it was to finally meet you. I will be looking forward to getting together again and meeting Betsey and Bikergrammy and anyone else who might show up. I don't feel so alone anymore. You guys are the greatest!!!!!

Well finally ladies. I got my band on the 24th and have finally made it to mushies so I will be looking forward to finally meeting everyone the next time you have a dinner date. It seems to have taken a long time to get here but I'm happy that I'm here. I see the Dr. to talk about and maybe get the first fill on the 25th and I don't even go on solid food until the 22nd. Is that normal?

I may just try to join you if you're sure the restaurant won't mind. I guess it will depend on how crabby I am from that first week of liquids. Betsey, it's true Las Vegas is a relatively inexpensive vacation place if you don't gamble (we do ) and the shows, while some are pricey they are always first rate. We saw O at the Bellagio a few years ago. It was supurb. You only felt like you needed to see it several times to actually see it all because there was so much going on. There are also some excellent magicians there. I was never a fan of magic but they take it to a whole new level.

Well alas ladies I once again will not be able to meet you all yet. On the 17th I will start my week of clear liquids after having already been on a week of liquids, so I think it would not be wise for me to go out for dinner at this time. I guess I will look forward to meeting everyone after my surgery. May be able to make it in Oct. but then again it might not be until Nov. I'll just have to see how it's going.

Got a surgery date from the surgeon today. Sept. 24 is my lucky day. There is still an if to this but hopefully it will all work out and I will get through the two weeks post op liquid diet without my husband having to move to the travel trailer because I am so grouchy. Hope to meet ya soon ladies.
